Flames broke out of this second story window when this house caught on fire midday on Jan. 31.
Firefighters were called the home, near Michael Budd Park, by one of the residents on Feb. 1 at 1:30 p.m.
He was on the main level when a fire broke out in a second floor bedroom, and crews arrived to heavy smoke and flames coming out of a window.
The fire was fortunately contained to the bedroom and part of the attic, but there was smoke and heat damage to the second storey.
There was minor smoke damage to two adjoining units, but residents of those units were allowed back inside. While the three male occupants of the home were not allowed back in, there were no injuries.
Total damage was originally estimated at $85,000, and upgraded to $150,000 on Feb. 2. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
